Koigu Clapotis by Yarnish.

 

Pattern: Clapotis (Knitty Fall 2004)

Yarn: Koigu KPPPM

Started: February 28, 2008

Finished: April 8, 2008

Notes: Great pattern, but I’m not overly thrilled with the results.  Firstly, there is a reason that the original pattern calls for a wool-silk blend, and much as I love the Koigu, I just didn’t get the sheen or the drape that I would have with a blended yarn.  Secondly, I petered out at the end, and I should have added repeats to make this thing bigger.  It’s more like a small-end scarf than a wrap-like scarf, and that’s not quite what I had in mind.
